Shubham Jain is an AI researcher, lecturer, and industry expert specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and search technologies. He holds a PhD in AI, funded by the Irish Research Council in collaboration with Ericsson, and has worked at Ericsson, Mastercard, and Yahoo, leading AI-driven innovations in search, data intelligence, and enterprise applications. His expertise spans large-scale machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI-driven search systems for real-world applications.
In addition to his industry work, Shubham is a lecturer at University College Dublin (UCD) and Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), where he teaches AI concepts, generative AI, and business applications of machine learning. He is passionate about making AI education accessible and practical, helping students and professionals bridge the gap between research and implementation. His tech talks focus on the latest AI advancements, their real-world impact, and best practices for deploying AI at scale.
